What We Need
The Sales Coach position is a full-time sales management and development role. Responsibilities for this role are hands-on, highly relational, and tactical in nature. In this position you’ll be focused on the short and long term goals of loan officers (LOs) and realtors enrolled in the Level Up Sales Program. The majority of your time will be spent in planning and conducting 1:1 and group coaching sessions, contributing insights and suggestions aimed at program enhancement, and tracking metrics and results. Coaches must provide straightforward feedback while remaining sympathetic to the speed bumps and obstacles that all LOs and those in sales in the mortgage industry face.
What You’ll Do
Plan, schedule, and conduct 1:1 and group coaching sessions with LOs and realtors enrolled in the Level Up Sales Program.
Create a relentless focus on consistent execution of the basics in sales
Identify roadblocks to success
Hold individuals in program accountable to metrics set and motivate to meet goals
Maintain robust tracking and reporting of the following:
Coaching attendance reports
Meeting notes
Individual improvement plans and assignments
Contribute to the ongoing documentation, training, and refinement of best practices for the department.
Provide Level Up Sales Program leadership with consistent feedback regarding individual’s participation, performance, and improvement plans.
Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
What You Have
2-5 years' experience in mortgage sales.
Track record of success in outbound mortgage sales.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present engaging training material.
Analytical problem solver who is able to look at large picture and identify issues.
The ideal candidate:
Experienced loan officer who ideally possesses a strong awareness of the mortgage and real estate industries. This person is able to draw from their own robust experience as a sales professional to deliver both high level sales methodology and practical/tactical implementation strategies for loan officers and realtors.
