You’ll oversee the entire loan origination process, from initial contact through to smoothly transitioning the file to the operations team for final processing and closing.

In this role, you will engage with potential clients over the phone, quickly earning their trust, fostering strong relationships, and presenting customized mortgage solutions. You’ll oversee the entire loan origination process, from initial contact through to smoothly transitioning the file to the operations team for final processing and closing.
Responsibilities:
- Work with leads from various sources, including mailers, call center transfers, and inbound inquiries, ensuring a steady flow of 7-10 opportunities per day, adjusting with market conditions.
- Focus on building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients by providing an exceptional experience through direct phone interactions.
- Analyze financial and credit data of prospective clients, determine their financing objectives, and advise them on suitable products and services.
- Recommend loan terms, educate clients on loan commitments, and secure their commitment to proceed with the application.
- Package the loan file accurately and transition it smoothly to the operations team for processing and closing.
- Maintain a high volume of phone interactions throughout the day, engaging with both inbound and outbound calls to maximize unique client opportunities.
- Uphold a high level of accountability, working within our processes and procedures to efficiently connect with real clients.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless loan process, from initial contact to closing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Market our company’s unique services to clients based on their needs and requirements.
- Research and stay up to date on market rates and trends to better consult clients.
- Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
Qualifications:
Licensing: NMLS license required.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a call center, with a preference for those with D2C lending experience.
- Mortgage experience, particularly in refinance, from 2019 onwards.
- Proficient in CRM systems such as Salesforce or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong knowledge of loan guidelines, processes, and mortgage products.
- Driven, highly motivated, and obsessed with process optimization.
